Pinkie Pride was the greatest thing that has ever aired on television! And now that Al's recording the polka and parodies, all that's left on my "Weird Al Life-Completing Checklist" is for him to be in ERB (obviously), SpongeBob (...yea), and for me to meet him personally. Family Guy cameo and/or reference would be nice too. I'd say him being in an episode of Doctor Who, but that's 99.9% NOT going to happen (fingers crossed for the 0.1%, though!).
Al has actually finally made it to a Family Guy reference lol. It wasn't bad but it's awesome he was finally mentioned.
Anyhoosers, Al has been working away at Al-bum 14 still. It sounds like he might be going back in the studio soon to finish up the supporting parodies (Usually tracks 3 & 5-ish) We may get the Al-bum this Summer if he can find the right lead parody. That's what I'm hoping for anyways. If not I'd be really content with a Fall release right around my birthday because that'd be just awesome!
I can see "All of Me" by John Legend having some serious potential. The lyrical structure is pretty good parody-wise, & it's a top song right now. Hopefully Al does consider it. Maybe he'll consider "Happy" too since that seems to be extremely popular. I can see it being a supporting parody for sure.
I'm not fully expecting any of these either but I'd like to see Al have a go at either "Dark Horse", "Let It Go", "Royals" or maybe even "Timber".

Jon just updated the Recording Dates page on the website:

Apparently, they just finished a song TODAY!!
If Al does the usual 12 songs on the albums, that means he only has the lead parody to record! Hope he gets it done soon (not rushed like "Perform This Way, though (not saying that song wasn't good, I love that song, but Al even said it was rushed)).
So Al is still one song away from completing the album... I have a feeling it's coming soon. Yesterday Al was in Englewood, CO at a Summer music festival presented by a local radio station. Iggy Azalea was there & according to the DJ Al was waiting to talk to her. Currently Iggy's song "Fancy" is #1 on the Billboard chart. Possible lead parody?

Now the only question is what would you call a "Fancy" parody?
