Sound isn't stupid. Moves like Chatter, Screech, Belly Drum, Bug Buzz, Detect, Echoed Voice, Encore, Explosion, Follow Me, Growl, Heal Bell, Howl, Hyper Voice, Lucky Chant, Metronome, Mimic, Perish Song, Rage, Relic Song, Roar, Roar of Time, Roost, Sing, Sleep Powder, Sleep Talk, Snore, Supersonic, Uproar, and Yawn could all be Sound-typed.
Pokemon like Chatot, Audino, Wigglytuff, Jigglypuff, Politoed, Exploud, Loudred, Whismur, Chingling, Chimecho, Kricketune, Kricketot, Wailord, Wailmur, Meloetta, Yveltal, Mr. Mime, Ditto, Porygon, Porygon2, Porygon-Z, Snorlax, Unown, Ludicolo, Maractus, Slaking, Bronzor, Brongzong, Mime Jr., Probopass, and Seismitoad could all be sound.

Oh yes, it deserves its own type because a lot of attacks make noise, So basically Loudred is completely immune to a type XD but seriously SOUND! My problem, there is absolutely NO reason why sound moves can't just stay as normal types ANY ASS CAN MAKE A SOUND! THAT'S WHY IT'S NORMAL!

But it deserves to be a type. It makes sense. They have fucking dragon for crying out loud, and that isn't necessary. Sound and Light are both very requested types. It makes a lot of sense considering many Pokemon involve sound and many moves involve it.

To be fair, i HAVE heard a LOT about a sound type ever since gen 3. It IS a highly requested type. However, that does not mean the sound type should exist. I, for the most part, agree with this 100%.
