I like Fairy-Type becauee it will make these cute little pink puffballs practical and more widely used. I'd never use a Jigglypuff if it was just normal type. Now the Fairy add-on makes me consider adding one to my normal team. And Fairy is close enough to magic, so i'm comfortable with it. I'm sure Dragon type seemed like a bad idea at first, because they are basing an entire type off of a mythical creature, but Dragon grew on people. Which i'm sure fairy will too.

They don't all have to be strictly powerhouses, Z. There are other factors one can apply to the 'useless pink ones'. It's called strategy. You should try it.

So, Marrill will be a Fairy type, so it's safe to assume Azumarill will as well?

Well, Azumarill is fucking tank in Competitive Battling, and now that is Fairy Type as well, it can be bulky as hell, and be an offensive threat.

Calling it now, Azumarill will be the next Tyranitar of Competitive Battling.
