EPX For GM

Rob's obviously trying something new. I think that regular members should get a say in who should become a GM, because it introduces a variety of opinions and points.

Then what was the point of discussion about how Mods get promoted to GMs? If it's just gonna be a random popularity poll and not one based on feedback from Mods/GMs, then I see very little reason for Mods to be Mods anymore. Just promote random people based on a poll to GM.

I honestly believe that we should give power to the people. If members can't even decide which among them should get promoted then this place is just one big oligarchical hellhole. Besides, I don't think anyone on this forum is so mature as to not get a person promoted because they dislike him/her. Anyway, it's the majority vote so if one person doesn't want someone to become GM it doesn't mean the rest of the forum will follow suit.

There was no vote amongst the members to have Dion as 2nd admin, so I see no reason as to why a GM should be voted upon. Take a consensus from the current mods/GMs.

And I compared Admin to GM by saying Admin is a higher power than GM is. Your point?
