Thread: Favorite Music Albums

    Re: Favorite Music Albums

Bobby, glad you liked Rollin', that's one of my favorites too. My personal favorite Limp Bizkit song is "The Story" off of Unquestionable Truth pt. 1. None of those songs were released as singles (even though The Truth has a music video.) If I was to select another song that you want to start with, "Break Stuff" is great.

Limp Bizkit is officially listed as Nu Metal (System of a Down, Disturbed, Korn, Slipknot) and Rap Metal (Linkin Park, Saliva, Kid Rock, Rage Against the Machine.) But the music industry's official labels are always off in some way - Three Days Grace and Evanescence are listed as "alternative metal." I, personally, would call Limp Bizkit rap-metal but not nu-metal.

Yeah, I would compare Limp Bizkit with Kid Rock and Saliva more than Disturbed and Slipknot.

It's been 30 minutes since the Kingdom Hearts 3 announcement, and my life has turned around for the better. I stopped doing hard drugs, and my grades have improved by margins. I got off the streets and got a real job. I called my mom who I haven't talked to in years and introduced her to my girlfriend I met 29 minutes ago, Emma Watson. Upon hanging up the phone, Taco Bell arrived with my delivery and the driver gave me his winning lotto ticket. Emma and I then proceeded to cuddle while watching Sword Art Online and Attack on Titan. I am typing this from my waterbed on my Yacht in the Tropics. This has been a good day... Ah, I have to go guys... Emma just fell asleep on my washboard 12pac abs that I got from doing sit ups 5 minutes ago. Don't want to disturb her. It almost feels like a scattered dream that's like a far-off memory... a far-off memory that's like a scattered dream...

Bobby, I was thinking about your album list and I realized...no Beatles!?!?! I'm no huge fan but I'd expect Let it Be and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band to on there.

Props for including Queen though. Aside from The Beatles, they're possibly the greatest band to ever perform.

Oh pfff, remind me how to read. I'm no fan of Green Day, Beastie Boys or Frank Sinatra if that's any sentiment. Beatles and Elvis I really like though.

I basically hate Frank as a person. Elvis is great, just not very great-great IMO. And Green Day truly are American Idiots...

Last line was great. I wanna quote you on that.

I was like that for a really long time and I still am to some extent. I can tell you my favorite Michael Jackson song and do a full on analysis as to why, but I can't name a single album aside from "Greatest Hits." (And even an American Idiot could name that.) But at the same time, with bands I really, really like, it's easier to choose a favorite album than a favorite song because it gets more specific and the analysis is deeper.

Which reminds me...Bobby, no "2112" by Rush? I love that sh*t!
