    YellowNerd Reviews

Greetings! It's me, Yellownerd! I've been bored and watched a lot of things, read a lot of shit, listened to so many stuff- and I thought why not make reviews about them?

If you ever have something you want me to review as well, I'll try and do it for you!

    My criteria will be :

Initium: Basically I will tell you the plot in the simplest way I can, or just introduce you to what I'm gonna review- This will usually be on shows like Kamen Rider, Sentai or anything that most of you guys don't really know.

Bonum: This is where I tell you which parts I liked and why I liked them.

Malus: This is where I tell you which parts I hated or disliked or just generally iff'd me.

Extremus: This is where my final thoughts would be, my rating, and if I'd recommend it to anyone else.

    Kamen Rider Fourze

"Space, the limitless bounds of cosmic energy, and it's a wonderful world. This youth uses the Astroswitch to open the gates to the future. Space on your hands! Seize the youth and open your hands to grab the space!"
    ―Narrator

Greetings! Today I'll be reviewing Kamen Rider Fourze

    *Spoilers ahead*

    Initium:

Kamen Rider Fourze is made by TOEI, It's the 13th Kamen Rider from the Heisei Era, 22nd Rider since Showa, For more information about Kamen Rider and Tokusatsu related stuff please visit my TokuTalk Page

The premise of Fourze is basically strange things has been going on in Amanogawa Highschool, Kengo has a strange device called "Fourze Belt" which could be used to fight the strange monsters that shows up in Amanogawa, but his health condition doesn't let him use it- It's too dangerous, So a bad-boy transfer student Gentaro Kiseragi steps in and uses it- He uses his new found suit to battle the evil monsters called "Zodiarts", These Zodiarts have their own agenda but the main baddy is the Sagittarious Zodiart- His plan is to summon the other 11 Zodiarts to summon the "Presentor" which is like this great being, Anyway, It all goes down in 48 episodes, So many beautiful scenes, funny ones, sad ones, The ending was perfect to say the least.

    Bonum:
What I liked about the show is that it doesn't really truly take itself seriously as much as the other Kamen Riders, Fourze is a feel-good show and honestly it's one of the best starting Kamen Rider to watch if you're new.
One of my favourite episode was the Prom Episode- It was truly a masterpiece from Music to Acting to the Fight scenes.

The one thing that really pulled me into watching this was the general feel of the show, It keeps you hoping and on your toes.

    Malus:

What irk'd me is the entire Gemini Arc, It's such a bad time that I usually just skip it in my rewatches, Also the filler in these shows are obvious but it's not that bad.

    Extremus:

All in All, I really really recommend watching Fourze if you ever want to step into the world of Kamen Rider or Tokusatsu in general!

The music is funky, the costumes are amazing, the acting is solid, the writing is alright- It's a total feel-good show if you're ever feeling down, It handled the ending so good despite what you think would've happen.
I have rewatched Fourze maybe 5 times in it's entirety and it's movies now, It's one of my favourites.

My rating for it would be a solid 9/10.

That's it for my review of Kamen Rider Fourze! until next time!

    Trivia
The series commemorates not only the Kamen Rider Series' 40th anniversary
but also the 50th anniversary of spaceflight, which began with Yuri Gagarin's Vostok 1 flight in 1961
JAXA supported the series; to the point that the Tsukuba Space Center is seen in the opening sequence.

The graphics you use are very well done. I'd be lying if I said I knew a lot about what you're reviewing but keep up the work, it looks good!

    Ballads 1

"I thought I’d vocalize my troubles, but nobody will listen”

Greetings! Today I'll be reviewing Joji's Ballads 1 Album

    Initium:

After transitioning from viral internet personality to serious artist with his 2017 EP In Tongues, 88rising singer Joji (real name George Miller) looks to build on his success with the release of his debut album Ballads 1. The 12-track project features Trippie Redd as well as production from Clams Casino, Shlohmo, D33J, RL Grime, and Joji himself. The project comes in the wake of multiple singles, including “SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK,” “TEST DRIVE,” and “CAN’T GET OVER YOU.”

“It was not only a transition of career, but in my life too,” he told Billboard last year about the directional shift in his career. “Now I feel as if it was a rebirth, and I get to start fresh, and I get to leave this bad stuff behind.” - Joji

Credits to genius.com for this Initium.

Bonum: I loved almost every song in this album specificaly Attention, Yeah Right, Come Thru. This is the type of music I like- Soft lo-fi hiphop- It's relaxing in a way when you really get down to it, Its also a good background noise if you ever want something just playing in the background.

Malus: The only thing that bothered me a little bit in this album "No fun" is inserted right smack dab in the middle, It's fast and energetic-like flow ruined the immersion for me when listening to the album in a linear way.

Extremus: I'd totally recommend listening to this album at least once in your life- Listening to this made me think about a lot of things- which is both good and bad but overall I enjoyed listening to this album.

    I'll be giving it a solid 8/10

Funfact: This was me during the whole album

I'm gonna get a lot of flack for this but I absolutely love Suicide Squad,

It's a movie that you don't have to take seriously! It's a bunch of evil dudes forming a group to kick some ass and honestly I was sold.

The music was amazing, the effects were great, the story was kinda cliche but I didn't really care much about that, I'm here for the mind-numbing action.

Will Smith had an amazing performance along with Margot Robbie.

If this was edited a little bit better it'd be amazing.

Honestly, It's a dumb fun action movie and it doesn't deserve the hate of the people.

Jared Leto as the joker was fine for me, You don't have to always compare the Joker to Heath Ledger, Everyone has preferences and Jared Leto didn't disappoint me, the costume maybe yes but his acting is quite good and speaking of costumes- This movie nailed a lot of goods and bads for the characters, I love some and hate some too.

It's a middle movie but it's not horrible, to say the least.

I really do genuinely like this movie, It's one of my feel-good and guilty pleasure movies.

I can watch this when I'm having a bad day and just enjoy it.

    I'll give it a 3.5/5
