Here's my review of Guy Montag vs Winston Smith. Next is Gunnut vs. YellowNerd.

Spoiler: 

Guy Montag-Round 1: The 2 minute hate line is decent, and the fireman line is pretty good. The Book Thief line and Girl Friday line aren't really disses or boasts, but the living undead line is decent and I really like the Fahrenheit lines. There are probably better sex scene jokes that could be made, but it's not a bad line. The last 5 lines are all enjoyable to some extent. 8/10

Winston Smith-Round 1: The first two lines have some pretty good wordplay. I sort of like the salamander line, but the black Smith line is great. There are probably better jokes about the director not knowing English and the Big Brother show, but the paper line is great, the pyromaniac line is decent and the last line is pretty funny. 8.5/10

Guy Montag-Round 2: Probably better jokes that could've been made about the debate, but adding in the rat insult helps it out a bit. The Reading Rainbow line is funny, and the last line is too, but it feels like a bit of a stretch. 8/10

Winston Smith-Round 2: Really good references in this verse. The sleeping pills line is pretty nice, the idiots line is decent, and all four of the last lines are pretty good. A few filler lines, but still definitely the best verse in the battle. 9.5/10

Overall: A few of the lines pretty much just say "there's nothing here" in the reference guide. In the future, if a line doesn't mean anything, don't put it in. You have to at least try for every line. Aside from that, really good job. Great references, great puns, just a lot of fun to read. 8.5/10

Guy Montag's Best Line: Did the Party say you were warring against Reading Rainbow instead of me?
Guy Montag's Worst Line: You want to school me? Then I’d like to learn
Winston Smith's Best Line: This average Guy’s such a blank slate they brand him for paper!
Winston Smith's Worst Line: Sure, but if you think your book was interesting that’s silly

Final Results:
Guy Montag: 16/20
Winston Smith: 18/20

Also, to be fair that's mostly because said lines were used as set-up lines and I copped out of explaining them just because I assume the meaning of the lines was obvious kind of like "your rapping is weaker than your fight scenes" and that sort of stuff, but point taken

Here's my review of Gunnut vs. YellowNerd. Next is Escapement.

Spoiler: 

Gunnut-Round 1: The dick break lines at the beginning are references, but they aren't really disses or insults, so they seem kind of pointless. I like the billy beans line though. There are better Hentai lines that could've been done, and the rep level thing seems just like a pointless self-insult, but the cosplay line is decent. The face of mercy reference is used well, and the last line is also a decent reference, even though it doesn't rhyme. 7.5/10

YellowNerd-Round 1: A few of these are references, but they seem pretty obvious and don't make that many jokes that haven't already been made on here before. There are some exceptions though, like the Izzy line and the Full House line, which is the biggest laugh of the battle. 7.5/10

Gunnut-Round 2: The clown fear reference works, although the lines could've been worded better. I like the Dion reference, but the gif basket line doesn't really seem to be much of a sexual innuendo, so it's kind of confusing. 7.5/10

YellowNerd-Round 2: I kind of want to give extra points for the ⊂(‘ω’⊂ )))Σ≡=─༄༅༄༅༄༅༄༅༄༅ . As for the lines, none of them are excellent, but the mod powers line and last line are just barely above average enough for the win. 8/10

Overall: A few of these lines focus more on making references than making jokes. While you certainly don't want to make jokes without references, it's important to keep it balanced. Fun battle, but there's room for improvement. 7.5/10

Gunnut's Best Line: Who's got the rapestick to thrust in the Billy Beans?
Gunnut's Worst Line: My rep level isn't incredible, it leaves me enraged.
YellowNerd's Best Line: Cause you really look a lot like that old guy from full house
YellowNerd's Worst Line: You can't flow to YellowNerd, I'm so fucking grand

Final Results:
Gunnut: 15/20
YellowNerd: 15.5/20

Here's my review of EDX's Escapement. Next is Gunnut vs. Clemi.

Spoiler: 

Part 1: Pretty intriguing opening, I must say. I've seen a lot of stories begin with someone talking about losing their families, but this is probably the first time I've seen a story begin with someone saying that THEY killed their family. Lots of emotion too. 9.5/10

Part 2: This chapter isn't as exciting as the others because there's not as much going on. I guess that can't be helped. There's still a lot of emotion, descriptive detail, and a bit of a more subtle sense of suspense than the other chapters. 8/10

Part 3: This is definitely the most suspenseful chapter. The emotion is still here too, and the cliffhanger is great too because it really doesn't drop any hints. The guy at the end could be literally anyone, and we have no idea and want to keep reading. 9.5/10
