UPDATE

[spoiler:3t4dfwmv]So, after I was dragged to church this morning my mother and father phoned up Doctor Joseph and told him to come "immediately". When the doc arrived we all sat down in a room and he asked what's the matter and then my dad said "he's gay", pointing to me and my mum burst out into tears. Doctor Joseph looked at me sympathetically and then my dad kept on ranting off about how "this was the one thing that made him think he'd failed as a parent," and that "he'd rather I'd have gotten a crackpot whore pregnant than be a 'queer'" and this made me really pissed off so I started yelling at them both and it turned into an argument with Doctor Joseph just sitting there looking really awkward and out of place, knowing that he shouldn't be there. Then my mum starts asking me those awkward on the spot questions while still crying, "have you ever been with a guy?" "have you ever kissed a guy?", "have you ever had a girlfriend?" blah blah blah and then Doctor Joseph asked them to leave the room and told me that he'd dealt with this kind of thing before and how they'll come around eventually and that they'll accept me soon enough (I just nodded, even though I knew it wasn't true). I mean, I like Doctor Joseph and all but he's way too optimistic. Then Doctor Joseph called my parents back in and told them that there was no 'cure' for homosexuality and all the stuff they should have known and they were pissed. After he left, my dad grabbed me by the shoulders and yelled to me that I am straight and never to bring this up again or else I was out of the house.[/spoiler:3t4dfwmv]

here's an idea. bring a girl home. and when you parents get all surprised tell them she's a lesbian. just to piss them off.
